NyQuil while pregnant?

I've read you can't and then I've read certain kinds...Tylenol isn't doing crap for me and I literally can't breathe...I can't take it. Have any of you taken it? I'll be 20 weeks Wednesday.

My dr said regular Sudafed for nasal decongestant, Robetussin for cough and losenges for throat. Tylonal for aches/pains. I'm on day 5 of a gross head cold, the sudafed has helped, still through about 2 boxes of tissues tho.

I'm pretty sure you can take DayQuil and Benadryl. Not sure about night quill

i took half of the recommended dosage when i was 18 weeks. i had a nasty cold and couldnt breathe either. the only concern with nyquil is tge alcohol content which isnt much. i took half a dose to be safe. doesnt hurt to check with your dr first though

When I went in for my first check up my doctor gave me a list of medicine that they said I could take and DayQuil and NyQuil were both on it. I didn't get very sick after getting the flu shot and Tylenol and Benadryl were not helping so i took the half dose of NyQuil twice and I got better right away. I would call your ob and just ask if they have a list of things you can take so you know what to take when you need it.

Try Benadryl instead of NyQuil. NyQuil also has a cough suppressant which may or may not be harmful.
