how would you feel? advice?

So the other day it was me and my mans 1 year anniversary, I was excited and got him a few present but he didn't even get me anything.. Idk.. I understand money is tight but I would've been happy with just a card :/. Idk how I should bring it up with him without sounding like bitchy or materialistic but it actually hurt my feelings I didn't get anything.. I deserve something.

Honestly I've always got my boyfriend gifts for Christmas, birthday, or anniversary but I don't expect anything back, I came to realize that what matters most is that he spends those moments with me and that makes it better. But if it's something that really bothers you and you want him to give you gifts theirs nothing wrong with you letting him know how you feel. I'm sure he will understand. (: but if he shows he appreciates what u do for him and shows you he loves you girl that's more than enough:)
