when do I announce?? :)

My hubby and I just found out I'm pregnant a few days ago! So technically I'm 4 weeks and 3 days along now. Wow! 
When do I announce though? How long should I wait? It's kind of driving me insane, especially because my mom came to visit the DAY AFTER I found out!!! I'm still putting myself anonymous in case any of my family or friends happen to be on this app ;) ha.

Announce when you want. There is no right or wrong answer. I announced when we found out which was like 3 and a half weeks

It's totally a personal preference, and there's no right or wrong time. 
From my perspective, we didn't announce until about 20 weeks. We wanted to wait for the anatomy scan to make sure everything was OK, and I really enjoyed having a secret that was just ours. We don't live close to family so it was logistically easier to keep the secret when morning sickness was awful. 
I knew that if something had gone amiss in the pregnancy I would have preferred to deal with that by myself with just my partner - but that's just my personality.

I'd wait until the beginning of the second trimester. I'd tell my mom right away and other close family but for everyone else I'd wait until the second trimester. Just to keep it real mainly because MC does happen and it's worse when you have to tell a lot of people what's happened.

That is all up to you. Some women announce shortly after finding out, some wait until the beginning of the second trimester where you're in more of a "safe zone" in terms of losing a pregnancy. I announced at 8 weeks after our first ultrasound.

I obviously told my close family straight away, but making them aware I am only early, but we didn't fully announce until I was 12 weeks so out of the first trimester. But it totally up to you!  Congratulations!

Lots of people wait until after the 12 week testing because if there is a need for termination they want to be able to grieve in private. But it's totally up to you and what you feel comfortable with. Congrats :)

I announced at around 5 weeks. The day I found out I called my mom and told her. Then 3 days later I told the rest of our families. I wanted the support in case something would have happened. It's up to you though. Whenever you feel comfortable!
