tampon maybe stuck?¿

So i clearly remember pulling out my tampon but i dont remember putting one back in. I just remember putting on a pad instead. So now im starting to freak out that i actual put a tampon in & i dont remember?!?! Idk what to do!!! I have looked at the symtoms of TSS to make sure i dont have a tampon stuck & i have no symptoms :/// all i have is stingy when i pee but i think thats because i didnt drink enough water recently. i would check with my fingers but ive never done that before and im little skeptical, Idk what to do. (UPDATE: I DID MORE RESEARCH & IT COULD BE UTI BC OF MY STINGING BUT IDK)
