newbie needs advice!

Hello everyone! Me and my husband are trying to concieve for last weeks especially during my ovulating days. Now, i don't know of course if it worked or not yet. Yhe thing is i am going out for a sushi night with my friends this Friday but i keep doubting if i will do it or not. And also my period is due to come on sunday so it is also a bit of a thrill for me because til now I don't get any pms or whatsoever. Anyone here who have same experience somehow?
