Chaos at home🙁😔😕

Took my dad to the hospital yesterday and doctors told him he has sepsis(blood poisoning) which we were told is something very serious. They're not letting him out of the hospital and they have him hooked up going through all these tests and on antibiotics. They told us if the antibiotics didn't work it can lead to his death. I don't know how to help my mom, she's a wreck. She's been dealing with so much already. We have a brother who is a drug addict, our niece is going through the system because he and his girlfriend are both druggies. We have so much on our plates already specially my mom. Has anyone been diagnosed with sepsis? The doctor's are making it look very bad but I had never heard of it. Tia, I just really needed to tell someone.
