bleeding

I am 4 weeks. And have been bleeding heavy for 3 days. I went to the doctor the first day and they said everything looked fine and to come back in 48 hours to check my hcg levels. I'm nervous about going back. Had anyone experienced heavy bleeding and still have a healthy pregnancy?
