How long does bump in leg after vaccines last?

My son got his vaccines at his 6 month check up 5 days ago, and he still has a lump in left high where the shots were given. This is the first time it hasn't gone away within a few hours. Anyone know if this is normal??

Every child is different. My daughter clears up in three or so days. My Godson took over a week.

Yeah, just massage around where the bump is. It happens sometimes

Time to call the doctor to let them know. I always massage the area the day they give vaccines, because the fluid can stay trapped in that one area and become a hard lump. Massaging that first day prevents it from hardening up.

My daughter got one the last two times. They say it's pretty normal and should only last a couple of days at the most. We gave her Tylenol and she barely even noticed. I was more worried than she was! Haha.
