Good name or no?

So my husband and I decided on my daughter's name. Most people we've told love it, but my mom commented today she would probably call her by her middle name. What do you guys think ? The name we chose is: Clarke lainey

I think it's cute. But this is the exact reason we're not telling people, even our parents, the name we choose. Someone is bound to offer their opinion weather you ask for it or not.

I love it. Yeah, people will always try to call your child something else. Everyone tried to call me Jessie when I was little and my mom put a stop to it. Just politely correct her if she decides to call your daughter by her middle name. I think she'll come around before then.

People will give nicknames too, I wouldn't worry too much. Clark is our favorite name if ours is a boy, I love it!
