Hello ladies! I'm 39+6, 1cm dilated, pretty much fully effaced, lost my mucus plug, and have been having prodromal labor on and off for 2 weeks now. I almost went to the hospital a couple of nights ago when I was having regular contractions 10 minutes apart starting at 1am. However they went away at 4 a.m. and I've been having irregular contractions every night since then. My question is, how do I know if it's the real thing. I don't want to end up getting induced at the hospital if I get there too early. Does anyone have experience with prodromal labor and how did you know it when real labor came? Thanks for your advice and wisdom!
