So I'm currently not on any birth control but I'm exploring options. I heard that Nexplanon affects your sex drive?? Is that true?

It can in many ways… I don’t think about sex much now… plus this everyday bleeding makes me not want sex…

It can affect your sex drive but so can most birth control. I personally have found it to be very minor. In fact, I feel more liberated and relaxed since I know that I am fully protected and don't have to worry about getting pregnant accidentally. My doctor said that studies of women using the implant had on average gained 3lbs over 5 yrs. But most people gain that amount in 5 yrs anyway even if they weren't on the implant, so I wouldn't worry about gaining weight.

Yes it did to me also I gained 40lbs and had terrible migraines I had it in for almost 4 years had two of them only good part is that I had no period Or spotting for the hole 4 years

It didn't have any negative side effects for me at all. It's very easy to remove, so honestly, it's worth the Try because it's different for every woman.
