Pulmonary embolism after Labor

I was induced October 24th at 7:30pm,

Was in labor for 36 hours

I pushed for 4 hours and ended up having to go in for a c section.

I had a beautiful little boy that was 9lbs 4oz.

We were in the hospital from wed-sat when we finally went home Saturday everything was great!

Sunday I experienced shortness of breath and chest pain, I went to the ER and found out I have 2 blood clots in my lungs and the hospital had fluid overloaded me while I was in labor so my heart and lungs filled with fluid. I have now been in the ER since Sunday, they are working on thinning my blood and I will be on blood thinners for 3 months to a year with TONS of follow-ups with my doctors and the hospital to make sure the meds are working and my clots go away.

I get to see my son a few hours a day but I don't get to see him at night and its tearing me apart :(

Has anyone else had any experience with pulmonary embolisms after child birth?..

Im ready to go home and take care of my son and be with my husband. :( this has been the worlds longest hardest journey that has just begun it seems like.
