This is an odd trick but in addition to taking something like ibuprofen I drink warm water. (I do this at work as opposed to plugging in my heating pad and letting the whole office know what I'm going through) It like relaxes the muscles in my stomach or something but always helps!

Walking or running helps too. The cramps are just your bowels trying to cleanse themselves and since it tries to come all at once, your body contracts and makes it harder to pass. Honey oh the joys of being a woman! I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Have you tried midol.? They work for me in about 3 mins .

I have to they take to long to work unless you chew and I hate chewing them
