Is this name stealing?!

I love my best friend. When she was pregnant I very specifically remember her being stuck on the name Mila for a good month and a half. A customer of hers told her about how her daughters name was Mila and she died in a car accident at three years old and she instantly decided against the name. She was then stuck between Haven and Macie and ended up with a sweet Macie. Now that I am pregnant my husband and I LOVE the name Mila. I have asked her three times now if it would bother her and she said "why would it bother me?" My only issue is we were in between McKinlee and Mila and she kept pushing for McKinlee and did so pretty strongly any time it was even kind of brought up. We now have pretty much decided on Mila but I really can't decide if I'm stealing her old name or if she just prefers McKinlee. She had Macie a year and a half before we even got pregnant so I know she completely chose herself and it had nothing to do with me but still. Is this stealing?
