upper lip tie 👄

Hi mommas! My 11 week old I believe may have a upper lip tie. We are having some issues like clicking while eating, gassy, doesn't flare top lip and shallow latch. Although she will flare and have a deep latch at times. I just am concerned so I made a appointment for two weeks from now. Does anyone have any experience with this? She is exclusively breastfed... will our breastfeeding relationship remain strong after this is done? I'm very nervous. She has great weight gain, diaper output, and transfers milk fine. I struggle with a overactive letdown so it's been confusing to saying these issues are from that or if she is tied. I am going to bring her to be examined regardless. But I would love to hear if you did or did not get your LO's clipped, success stories.. I am so nervous she won't want to nurse after and I don't know why. Just overthinking things I guess.
