Nexplanon/Implanon Experiences?

Question

So my follow-up visit at the OBGYN is next week and I'm super excited! I'm looking into birth control methods now, and the implant seems to be the one I've chosen. I'm breastfeeding, so I can't time the insertion with my period like it suggests, so I was wondering if any other moms have had this experience? Anyone want to share how the implant was for them?

I loved it and plan on getting it again once baby is born. Have a friend that hated it and bled constantly on it and now has the mirena which is one I had issues with. Everyone is different and has different reactions to it, know your body and pay attention to changes! Good luck and hope you don't have any adverse reactions to it

I got the implant October 5th and it has been good so far. The first few days I had a bit of mood swings but now I'm normal and I've had very very light spotting for 13 days now. So light that it's only when I wipe! I like it so far and it's an easy method that the put it in and forget about it! I didn't line it up with my period and I've never heard that you have to

It was awful for me. I virtually bled for 10 month solid till it was removed. It either works for you or you bleed lots
