Alright, be prepared for a long post. My hubby got laid off November 2015 and hasn't been working since. He is having trouble finding a job because our community sucks right now. Anyways, we've been on social assistance since February. Except we can't collect anymore because they cut you off after 8 months. So now we are living paycheck to paycheck with my $300 a paycheck job and our $600 child tax. We are getting by with $1200 a month. Anyways, my grandma hasn't been good lately and they've given her 6 months to live. She lives about 4 hours away so we decided to take the trip and stay at her place for a week to visit a bit. We left our pets (lizard, 2 cats and fish) with my hubby's best friend. We gave him $40 in the event the pets need something or if they run out of food. We asked that he not spend the money unless he has too because we have $200 to last us the next 3.5 weeks including that $40. He text me today saying he needs more money to buy the lizard some food. I asked him how because the lizards food is only $12 and we had given him some money. Turns out he spent the $40 on fast food and weed. And now has nothing for the pets. I told him I had nothing to give him and he told me my lizard will starve. I didn't give him money and I'm pissed. He works 2 jobs and can't get by because he spends his money on pointless things. He wanted weed so he spent $100 on weed a few weeks ago and then couldn't pay his rent. Although we only had $600 we gave him $100 to help with his rent and he told us he would pay us back. He then spent that $100 on a TATTOO! I'm SO pissed. He says he doesn't have the money to pay us back and it makes me livid. I have a daughter is has a fatal allergy to dairy and she has appointments and medication I have to pay for and that knocks us down by so much. Not to mention her formula is $70 a week! And now I have my hubby's friend spending $140 of our money because he "feels like it"! My hubby doesn't care about this at all. He says he will pay us back when he can. Which I understand but at the rate he's going he won't ever be paying us back. My hubby is refusing to take him to small claims court cause he doesn't want to ruin their friendship. LADIES I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO! I DONT MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO BE GIVING OUT FREE MONEY!
