Do You Think A Women Should Ask A Man Out/Propose?

I was having an argument with my friends about whether a female should ask a man out or propose. My friends were saying it's wrong and I was disagreeing that there's nothing wrong with it. Personally, I wouldn't, but I don't find anything wrong with it. But I guess it "tradition". What do you guys think?

My husband asked me when we were going to make our relationship public and offical as far as dating goes but i proposed to him and he said yes

Why does it always have to rest on the man doing everything woman have mouths too they can speak up just as much as a man

I don't think there's anything wrong with asking a man out, but I think it's definitely up to the couple who proposes. That's a conversation that needs to be had. I asked my boyfriend if he would care if I did it and he told me he'd say no lol, but I wouldn't want to do it anyway, I'm a traditional gal I guess. But like I said, it's up to the couple! Every situation is different :)

I don't see anything wrong with the woman asking the man out or proposing. Yes it's rare and different, but if you want something done do it yourself don't wait for the other person to do it. 
My junior year I asked my boyfriend (before we dated) to go to the Cadet Ball with me. Because dropping hints wasn't working.
