MIL rant.

My mil has been pissing me off for a while. Every time I go out with my friend either swimming/cinema or out for drinks which is about 4-6 weeks apart or even when I go out without her son or kids she has something to say about. I should be at home with the kids every night. I have 4 step kids only 1 lives with us. She says that if we want to go out we have to take the kids with us. Last weekend I went for Halloween with my friend and she rang my husband and said 'why is Sarah out and your at home with the kids?' I then spoke to him on phone asked what was wrong and he told me what his mum said I was fuming. She does this every time! It feels like I'm not meant to have a life! Even when we go to quiz night at our local pub we have to take step son with us or not go. Not allowed to get a babysitter or anything. Am I wrong in wanting to snap at her?
