My parents were arguing a lot. Avoiding each other. Just irritated. A week ago my dad fell off his horse and we thought he was going to lose his eye. He was fine, and he got his stitches out yesterday, but it really scared my mom. The past two days when I came inside, she was laying her head on his lap and he was playing with her hair. They cuddled and took a nap together. She calls him throughout the day to check on him. She's making him a sandwich right now and taking it out to his office while he's working. They're happy again. All because of what could have been a very dangerous accident. I guess there really is a silver lining...
