when did you feel kicks not just flutters?!?

okay ladies i'm 18 weeks and i have felt little flutters i think but it have to be soo still, i'm still waiting to feel kicks! have any of you felt actual kicks... i'm scared something could be wrong? i'm a hair stylist and all my clients are asking if i have felt kicks yet...

Everyone is different, but I started feeling flutters at 14 weeks and actual kicks at 18. So if you just started feeling flutters it might just be a couple more weeks. Haha it's all fun and games until you start getting a solid kick in the bladder! 😖

Hi! So the first thing to remember is that everyone is different. Some of it has to do with body type, son of t with where the placenta is located, and some of it has to do with what you happen to be doing all day.

Chances are if you are on your feet or have a placenta anterior, you will not feel the kicks until much later.

I experienced flutters from 14w6d. I would say that I didn't start experiencing kicks until 17 weeks. 18 weeks they definitely got stronger. At 19 weeks, I could feel them with my hand - sometimes.  It is both weird and very cool. For myself, I was 5'4 and 125 lbs when I conceived, my placenta is posterior, and I have a desk job.

I could be wrong but typically it's after 20 weeks (especially for 1st pregnancy) & the placenta placement makes a big difference. My sister had her placenta in the front & couldn't feel baby until like 23 weeks. My placenta is in the back (this is my 3rd) & I can feel baby actually move (not just flutters) when I'm lying down & im 18 weeks. I know what you mean by feeling worried though, it will be nice once I can feel her regularly & at any time!

I feel baby move all day everyday! This started at the end of 16 weeks. By the middle of 17 weeks I was able to feel the baby with my hand. The beginning of 18 I SAW the baby move from the outside! It all happened SO QUICKLY! It really is amazing once it happens. Something you never would imagine! Good luck to you!

I'm 17 weeks and haven't felt then yet. I thought I may have when pushing and prodding at night but nothing definite!! I too and hoping its normal but most say by 20 weeks with first.
