Could baby come early?

So im 30 weeks and 6 days and my baby girl is already 4.5lb measuring a 1 week and 2 days ahead. Could this mean i could have her early? Has anyone had this happen? If so, tell me what happened or how it went for you please.

I wouldn't judge anything by the measurements, especially at this late stage. From what I remember with my second, the later along the harder it is to judge babies actual size by these scans. I went in and was told baby was measuring  a week too big, then next week he was 2 weeks too big, and then suddenly next time he was a week too small! The amount of women who's baby didn't come out even close to the weight predicted surprises me...but I guess that just proves it's hard to estimate well enough. I wouldn't give it too much thought just yet! Good luck!

They told my friend that her baby was going to be 9lbs based on a head measurement, and they made her have a c section. He was 7lbs 6 oz. don't listen to everything they say because most of the time, they are wrong. I also feel like conception date isn't an exact science unless you did  IVF, it's all a guessing game, so you may be right where you need to be for your real due date. Don't worry! Everything will work out perfectly, my one piece of advice would be don't let them convince you of doing something you aren't comfortable with, based on things they aren't 100% sure of.

I agree with everyone that these measurements are terribly inaccurate. BUT if your baby is indeed big, it very likely could come early.

My baby girl is 2lbs 13oz at 28 weeks is that normal!?

The mesurements are an approximation and they very from tech to tech ! My neighbour was told her child would be over 10pounds and could not be delivered vaginally and the told her she needed a Csection she got it and the baby was just under 8 pounds. :)

No. My baby is measuring 12 days bigger and the doctor said it means nothing. I'm also super tiny so it's going to be challenging

Maybe they'll enduce you. My doctor is gonna do an ultrasound at 32 weeks to see how big he is and if he's big he's gonna enduce me

My dr moved my due date from the 10 th to the 5th saying due to baby being so big I'm between weeks and he will definitely come before his time I'm not stressed its only a few days just keep calm
