Help..?

I'm 22 weeks 5 days pregnant. I'm having heaviness feeling in my vagina as well as really bad back pains. I called the hospital where I live, they said its just my body changing. But the pain is horrible! Has anybody else experienced this? And what did you do to relieve the pain..?

Hi, it really helped me sitting in a reclining position for a while, also warm not too hot bath to relax the muscles. My phisio suggested that I change positions often not just rest in bed, but not over work. If the heaviness in you vaginal area becomes worse over 24 h or more consistent then do call your doc again. Are you cramping or leaking any fluid and/or spotting? I felt heaviness and twinges in my vagina about 4 weeks ago, I was about 19 weeks at that time, and my ob ordered a cervical ultrasound just to be sure all was well. My cervix was "Long and closed," which is what they want to see. They told me I would also most likely be spotting or leaking fluid if I was started to dilate with bad cramping but listen to your body and if you are really worried push the issue with your ob, better have a simple vaginal ultrasound and know all is good.

Go to a chiropractor and/or massage therapist. They should help and be able to tell you some exercises or stretches to do
