Anyone else have fibroadenoma in their breast(s)?

So I'm 24, and I had a papsmear this last April. My Gyno did a breast exam. She found a small lump in my right breast, and thought it might be a cyst, but said I should have it looked at just in case.

Keep in mind, my husband and I had our wedding happening on May 20th!! (And honeymoon to follow!!) so of course I was freaking out. I went with my mom to have them look at it through a sonogram.

The sonographer calls the doctor in, and they decide that it looks like a tumor, but it's most likely a fibroadenoma (benign tumor). But they told me I needed a biopsy just to be sure. A couple days later, my husband and my mom came with me to do the biopsy. I got the results a few days later that it was in fact a benign fibroadenoma!! Thank the Lord!!

My husband and I were blessed to have the wedding and honeymoon of our dreams, and I was able to enjoy it without worrying about what was going on in my breast. But I was just wondering if any one else has this and if you've noticed any problems that come along with it while ttc? (Sensitivity, insecurities).

At first my husband was a little afraid to do foreplay with my boobs because he didn't want to hurt it, but we have since gotten over that. And luckily it doesn't hurt unless I'm on my period. But when I'm on my period, I have the usual boob soreness, but it's even worse with the fibroadenoma. I sometimes wear my bra to bed because it actually feels better to have my boobs propped up than hanging with the soreness around the fibroadenoma!!

I've had fibroadenoma since I was 15/16. I've had two surgeries and three of them removed. Those ones were rather large. I have another one that I noticed more recently.

It's much smaller than the original ones I had. But it still feels the same.

My doctors back then told me that they wouldnt be much of an issue until I wanted to breastfeed. So, I'm waiting to see if it gets much larger while TTC.

I *believe I have one as well. So far I've had an ultra sound and consulted with a radiologist, she and my primary doctor think because of the look, size and feel of my lump that it's a fibroadenoma. They all seem super certain but no one has sent me for a biopsy. My primary doctor is sending me to a women's specialty center to consult with a doctor there and they will send me for a biopsy if they think it's needed. I'd like one to just to put my mind at ease but I guess we'll see. My appt is novemebr 14th. This whole thing has been pretty nerve wracking

I've had a few as well. I had one large one removed with surgery because it hurt so much! I have another in my right breast that hurts a lot around my period days or if it's messed with too much. So annoying! It freaks me out sometimes that it could be something bad because it hurts a lot but I've been told it's okay. I was told high caffeine intake can worsen symptoms also.

I have many of those all theoughout my breasts.. my doctor said they are hereditary and nothing really to worry about. They would get really sore and swell when I had my period and I haven't heard much else about it.. hopefully there's not much left to hear.
