Is 2 week appointments normal at 26 weeks?

I dont remember starting them this early with my 1st i remember being later than 30 weeks. My doctor seemed worried about my measurements and wants another ultrasound to check babys weight should i be worried? My 1st was born at 35 weeks and 5lbs 7oz and that's not too bad but i get shots every week so this one stays in longer.

My doctor starts appointments every two weeks at 28 weeks. Some doctors are different.

I think thats just how they do it now. My doctor has me coming in every 2 weeks  starting at  28 weeks.

Ive been.every two weeks since about 22 weeks because of proteins in my urine and I had high blood pressure once.

I've been having every 2 weeks since I started my second trimester actually every week I see both my OB and high risk dr each every 2 weeks and their in opposite weeks so one week is OB then the next is high risk then after that it's OB again and so on I also have to see my neurologist every 4 weeks I'm pregnant with twins and have epilepsy and had a stroke last year

What measurements are they checking that they're worried about? I have an ultrasound Monday to check to make sure my baby is growing enough. Mine was triggered from small fundal height measurements (4 cm behind).

As of 28 weeks my midwife appointments are once every two weeks, then around 36 they start being weekly.

This is my first so I'm not sure but I don't think my doc will do every 2 weeks till I'm in my third tri.

Yes really normal, especially if you had your last baby a little early or any prior issues. My daughter was born at 33w and I had every two week appointments also, and I'm 23w.  Its a good thing, they want to make sure everything is ok and closely monitor you both❤

My first was also born at 35w and was 5lbs 3oz. My doctor gave me the choice between the shots or a monthly ultrasound to check cervical length. I decided to skip the shots as long as my cervix was measuring alright, which it has been. I see her at 26w, then 30w and then we will start the every 2w apps. Your doctor may simply be doing a follow up on your baby since the measurements were off. Talk to your doctor, theres so many other things to worry about that i wouldnt want to add any unnecessary worry. If your doctor isnt worried then you shouldnt either.
