af was due on 1 November and still no sign

I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative however my friend said she could see a vvvfl. I am now 4 days late and currently on holiday. I looked for a pregnancy test in the supermarket but could not find any! I've still got 8 days left of my holiday! What should I do???
