planned c section at 37 weeks

I had a planned c section on 10-28-2016. I was so scared. I was exactly 37 weeks pregnant and had to have an early c section due to my heart function. My due date was 11-18-2016 and was planning to have a November baby. At 35 weeks they let me know you have 10 days before, "we are taking the baby out". Fast forward to last Friday, (the 28th). I went to the hospital at 7 am and they gave me an iv and had me sign paperwork and next thing I know it was an hour later and they told my husband to get ready and put on some scrubs. My doctor came in and saw me and then the Anastasia person. By 9am we were in the O.R. And by 9:18am my little baby boy was born! He was 18.25 inches long, and 6 lbs 6.8 oz. Tanner Jr💙
