So we found out yesterday that my fiancés grandma probably won't make it through the weekend. She has lung cancer and is going pretty quick. Well we decided last night that the sooner we get to see her and say our goodbyes the better. So this morning I called my daughters school to let them know she would be late but would be there for lunch. She has been late maybe Twice. She missed 3 days because of illness and they have a dr note. So they asked why she would be late and I explained to them that we are going to visit her great grandmother who is dying, and the bitch felt it appropriate to lecture me on my daughters attendance. She exaggerated my child's tartyness and even attempted to claim that my child has missed more school than she's been there for witch is not only in accurate but a gross exaggeration. And considering we have a family member dying I don't think I need to be lectured on attendance, especially if your going to exaggerate. When I take my daughter to school I will be not so kindly explaining that I will not be lectured about tardiness, especially when they want to exaggerate, and especially when my 5yo is about to have her first lesson on death. Ugh. I'm just so upset by this.
