Ivy's Birth Story

Ivy Chanel Savage born 10/3/16 2lbs 2oz 14in. I went in due to vaginal bleeding & I was dilated 3 centimeters 25 weeks so my doctor admitted me. I was put on bedrest to try to keep me pregnant then when I was 26 weeks 5 days my water broke. Even tho my water broke they were still trying to keep me pregnant because she's just so early. I was chilled at first but then had to poop so badly & it was making me have a urge to push so they were telling me "NO!" my doctor came & actually pushed my poop out through my vagina & it was a HUGE relief. After that I was ok so they waited. Then yesterday I started having contractions. They were like period cramps at first then they turned into God knows what! They hurt so freaking bad omg. I was crying & yelling & the nurse was no help at all. She gave me pain meds KNOWING I was about to have to push so thing were very complicated. I kept waking up yelling, then passing out, eventually I started hyperventilating & my baby's heart rate dropped so did mine. They were VERY unorganized because my original doctor wasn't there. I push more than 10 times. Then came out Ivy! I couldn't even hold her ☹️️ I looked down at her then she was gone to NICU. I'm so stressed. Every time I go see her I burst into tears seeing her like that. Please keep my baby in your prayers.
