Pap test??

So I'm going for my first Pap smear test and I'm a little anxious, not really sure what to expect. I do know it's a process to see precancerous cells and test for cervical cancer. But I'm a little anxious on whether it's going to hurt or not. I have had sex before and recently started the pill. Tips pointers stories? Anything helps girls

I had my first pap when I was 13. They have a tool that goes in your vagina like a dildo, but is hollow and opens up to allow a long swab to go through, which they will culture. The Dr will also feel with their hand for cysts. At that age, I was uncomfortable because I wasn't really sure what was happening.

I had another one at 16, it wasn't bad at all, just cold!

The most recent one I had was when I was 22 and 10 weeks pregnant, it was very uncomfortable because my body was going through so many changes. It was also my first pregnancy.
