Ovulation Sickness (Comments Welcome)

Kristin
My husband and I have been TTC for the last 6-8 months! It started out as us not labeling things with "TTC", until he came to me and asked how I felt about starting a family! In the beginning I always set myself up for failure by taking pregnancy tests and letting my mind play tricks on me.
Over the last few months & long before we started TTC, each month I noticed I always got a big nausea spell hit me. I finally just googled it, and found that it's not to uncommon for women to have nausea during ovulation. But this month it's different, I've been so sick all week. Upset stomach, fatigue, headache, and nausea. I've thrown up maybe once a day or felt the urge too. Today I've thrown up twice over having to force myself to vomit because I was so severely nauseas. The part that sucks the most is some moments I'm completely fine and other moments my head is spinning and I feel like I'm going to lose it! I know I'm ovulating because I can tell the change in my body like clockwork and cervical mucus is always never not prominent during this time.
However my period wasn't as painful this month and not as heavy either. I don't know if it's because I felt it coming and started taking Midol, etc early the first day so i wouldn't wait until i actually started cramping! But after it was over l, I took a pregnancy test but as always they are negative.
I guess what I'm trying to get too is, does anyone else get sick like this during this ovulation? My whole immediate family is medical field, nurses, paramedics, myself included. But it's driving me crazy!
My fear is that as our hormones change during ovulation, if that alone is making me sick, all I do is fear how sick I may be when we do actually get pregnant someday.
Just wanted to post to see if anyone has ever had the same issues!
Thanks :)
