A friend of mine is Kaelan, I think it's an uncommon but "normal" and pretty name that can be spelled a few different ways without looking weird.

You could also do Kaylan, Kahlan, Kaelan. I wouldn't have an issue with the similar endings, many people name all of their children starting with the same letter(s), so why not?

My sisters name is The same that you want but spelled Kalyn. I always thought it was a pretty way to spell it.

I personally think Kaelyn is a better spelling, and it doesn't matter if spelling is similar. Some people do that with all of their kids!
