Pregnant after LEEP procedure??

Question

I was just curious if anyone has had a LEEP procedure done and was able to conceive right away? Or does anyone know if it can make you more fertile like you  would be right after having a baby?

I had it done around 8 years ago, and am on cycle 5 ttc. My OBGYN said I'm fine and should have no problems. I'm not sure if it's from that, but it seems that it's a bit hard for my husband and I to conceive. Neither of us have had tests, so there could be an underlying problem with us.

I had mine at 21-22 so i wasn't ready for a baby. But I had my first at 30, had a miscarriage and now I'm pregnant with my second. My Old OB said it would be diffficult because I've had the procedure twice. Not sure if that was a scare tactic. My new OB has said it was absolutely no issue to get pregnant. The scar tissue on my cervix made it harder to dilate. But other than that, I was fine!

I have had 2 LEEP procedures done. I was 25 for the first and 30 for the second (though I think the doctor was just being proactive as the healing process was minimal compared to the first time). My doctor also recommended waiting at least 6 months (preferably a year) before getting pregnant. My husband and I started trying just before my 31st birthday and by month 2, we got our positive test! I'm now 24 weeks and have had no issues whatsoever. My midwife said there's a chance I won't dilate properly in labour, but she said it's rare and as of right now, my cervix is doing exactly what it should be.
