Bleeding after intercourse

Hey guys, I just need some help trying to figure out what happened. My partner and I had our usual sex, and my secretions felt less vicious than normal. After we finished, I went to the bathroom and I had bright red blood coming out of my vagina. Coitus and post, there was no pain, and I finished my period about a week ago (my regular menstrual blood is very dark brown). Any ideas?
