Anyone know the symptoms of a plugged milk duct and what are some home remedies?

Try warm compresses, massage, prom or hand express. Continue to nurse from that side making sure to empty the breast.

My breast got rock hard and hurt so badly. To get rid of it I pumped and fed constantly and I also hand expressed. It is going to hurt but you don't want to get mastitis- that is MUCH worse

I literally would wrap my entire boob in a warm towel for a few minutes and then massage it while pumping, every two hours. And taking ibuprofen helped as well. And massaging the boob while taking a hot shower and hand expressing milk out. It went away within 24 hours 😀

Symptoms can include fever, feeling like you have the flu, redness in the area of the clogged duct, tender to the touch. I had one & I did all the home remedies & it went away on its own.
