how to get a breastfeed baby to take a bottle?

My son is 10 weeks and I went back to work and dad gives him the bottle of breast milk but he won't take the bottle and will sit 5-6 hours without eating refusing to take it. How do u moms handle it? Suggestions?

The Como Tomo bottles are excellent - personally I found they were even better then the Tommy Tippee - my son had to have supplemental pumped breast milk by the time he was three weeks old - he's currently 9 weeks and has ZERO issue going back and forth between nursing and a bottle. The latch onto the nipple is the same as breastfeeding and the silicon bottle feels like a boob for those babies (like mine) that like to hold you while they suck.

Yup lo will take almost an hour of fussing, crying when hubs feeds her.  We're trying to go through all the bottles we have.  Think sometimes it's a temperature thing,  other times not so sure.  We have tommee, como, avent, munchkin, joovy (haven't tried at all yet), and I feel like I'm forgetting a few,  but we have a lot of choices, and mommy is only asking for one break a day 😇🤔

For my baby it was a temperature thing. He refused a bottle at first because he was used to warm milk from my body. We got a bottle warmer and he took it easy then.

We use Medela Calma and it's great. When we introduced it for the first time I had my boob popped out and I put some breastmilk on the tip of the bottle. We tried to make it look like he was going to be breastfed but instead we gave him the bottle. It worked out just fine!

I've had the same problem since I bought my LO home. She's now 11 weeks 4 days. I bought every bottle I can think of. Every bottle she refused and would just cry. I finally bought 1 that she has no problem latching on and thats the Lansinoh Breastfeeding bottle. I thought she would never suck a bottle..and i thank nobody but God because I was praying and praying that I just find a bottle for her. She's been on the bottle for a good week now. No problems and mama can get back to work 🤗🤗🤗

If you find a solution to this please let me know! I have been going through this exact same problem for a month! I've bought every type of bottle for the most part with all different nipples and nothing! She does the same thing while I'm at work refuses to eat, so as soon as I get home I have to feed her right away!
