Non-Christian and TTC......
I'm Buddhist. Practicing Buddhist. I believe in being kind to one another and I believe to have a healthy life you must have a healthy mind. I believe in science and in medicine. I follow the science in trying to conceive. My husband and I are in a great relationship and we can't wait to share our love and happiness with someone that we create, and whom I bring into this world.
I try not to get frustrated when people tell me to "pray to god to help you conceive" or "when you're ready, god will give you a baby". I know people are coming from a good place, but it is a little hard to remember when I feel like people think I am not worthy to be a mother unless I believe in god.
So to all the non-Christian and Christian women out there trying to conceive I wish you luck, I wish you a healthy and happy life, and I hope you know that your value does not come from what or who you believe in. It comes from your actions and what you put in to the world.
