18 and Pregnant
(Warning long post!!)
Hi there so just a few days ago I found out I was pregnant and it's probably around two or three weeks. I've been with my boyfriend for a year and this has happened. I'm 18 years old, not in education and I'm unemployed. Me and my boyfriend came to the mutual descision of an abortion but as time has passed I'm really second guessing my answer. At the back of my mind I really desperately want to keep it and in a perfect world so does my boyfriend, my boyfriend is 17 in university and has a part time job. I'm always trying to look for work but I just haven't had any luck so far. I'm scared to tell my boyfriend I want to keep it because I don't want to ruin his life, he works hard and I don't want this to ruin any chances he has at life. I haven't told my parents and if I did they would be so angry but eventually would be calm and would support me. But I was also wondering what help I would receive as a pregnant teen/woman? Could I claim benefits? Please any advice would help me millions right now. (Also I live in the U.K.)
