why the need to elevate the dosage of Clomid?
I just did my first cycle of 50 mg of Clomid and according to my opks and pains, bbt - I ovulated.
Previously my Dr had given me Provera so I would have a period and then on CD 3 he had me start the Clomid.
Well, it seems I have started AF today, being just one day late for my expected period.
My Dr. Already prescribed me provera and 100 mg of Clomid in case nothing happened. Seeing as how it looks like I'm going to be having my period naturally I thought I wouldn't need the provera or the increased dosage of Clomid since I did ovulate on 50 mg.
However, when I called my Dr.'s office asking these questions the nurse called back just telling me to Take the increased Clomid. I tried to call her back but they close early on Saturday's and won't be open again until Tuesday. Since I have to start on CD 3, I kind of want to know why they would still go with the increase in dose even though you did ovulate. Does anyone know? Also- if anyone has been in my spot, did you take the provera or skip it entirely?
