CM has me sad :(

So this week is supposed to be my "window of opportunity" but my window came shortly after AF so I guess I wasn't that prepared. My window started last week on the 30th and peak day was supposed to be the 3rd. Well we have been pretty active, like every other day active and I'm thinking yay!!! But CM has been kind of creamy and I know that's not fertile and when I took my first ovulation test, Friday the 4th, it showed no LH surge :((. Now I'm kind of sad. Any thoughts or opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated!
