Pumping question

I couldn't get my baby to latch properly at the hospital. The LC was never there and the nurses couldn't get him to either. So he has had formula the last two days.

I bought a manual pump until I can get my electric one (he is 2 weeks early).

Should I be pumping now even though my milk hasn't come in?
