not sure

My wife and I having been trying to have a baby over a year now with a positive and then losing it just in the early stage. Now we find out her sister is pregnant with a 5th child. Noteing that she cannot take care of the first 4 and didn't want more children. Why when some don't want kids it happens to them and us who do struggle. It just hurts me so that I almost feel like giving up on the start of a family. I just don't know what to do anymore.
