We've been having problems with gas and colic.. does this look like a lip tie to you?

Yes my 4 month old had it and had it lasered at 1 month. It's prolly considered a class four. I would see you ent it drastically affected nipple pain and less gas for sure because they don't get a good seel when sucking.

Her bottom lip is fine but her top lip won't flare out. I pulled away a little so I could get a good picture.

My sons looks like that and doctor said it probably wasn't affecting anything. She said how you can tell is push both sides of the lip up and if it turns white, it could cause a problem. She also said most babies have lip ties. If you think it's a problem I would just ask to be sure.
