It's very very very helpful (as in one of the only things that helps besides medication) if you have PCOS.

I'm a bit fluffy and I didn't lose weight to conceive my son so for me weight wasn't a factor. We are going to start trying again in a few months so I have started to lose weight this time just because of how big I got when I was pregnant and want to keep it a bit more in check this time. If someone is on the fluffier side you are at a higher risk for gestational diabetes and that would be no fun.

I'm 5'5 213lbs. Was diagnose with PCOS at 19 (I'm 25)!
So DH and I decided to TTC so I sad I was going to lose weight. Well we started September 1st and I got my BFP on October 21st. When we started TTC I was 211 (I know I put weight on QUICK lol). So for me I didn't have to but I know that's only down to the Lord. I think if you have PCOS the best thing to do IS lose weight first!
