unattractive quality

First i love my bf. He was raised in a wealthier life than me. Well hes has a snobby characteristic. Ik i cant change him but its not like this always happens. Its usually when he buys me holiday gifts i realize his snobbiness. Last year he got me michael kors boots that we were $150. Ik its a lot but he makes it seem like he dropped thousands of dollars and how expensive they were. I spend the same amount he did on me so i dont get the big deal. Well now he got me a xmas gift is braggibg how much more expensive this is. What do i say to shut him up? Im not rich or poor but its so unclassy.  What can i say that doesnt make me sound like i complaining about money?
