urine samples a thing of the past?

Weird question: everything I've read has told me that I would give a urine sample at every doctors appt. I'm 19 weeks and have only given one at my very first appt. Is that normal for everyone?

I give one every time to check for infections and other things. I usually can't go on command mind you, but I'm asked every time I go
