What happens at yout first fertility appointment.?

Been TTC over a year and tomorrow is my consultation. What happens at these appts?

It's usually just a consultation. Like they will take an extended family history from you and your partner, they will ask a lot about your fertility health (from the day you first got your period to now, and everything in between). It's very helpful to bring along every scrap of information you have about yourself. So any charts from your obgyn, all opk results, all bbt charts and so on. They won't do much else until you start a new cycle. Then I believe they will do baseline bloodwork on cd 3 and go from there. My husband was scheduled for a semen analysis that first day as well. They did tell me at that first appointment, that after some testing that I was most likely a candidate for a medicated IUI cycle, and after almost 4 months of diagnostics and procedures to prepare for the IUI, my husband and I finally got our first shot at it- and it worked! I'm not sure if everyone's experience would be like mine was, but I was frustrated with how long it was taking. I LOVED the group I was with and I wish I could have stayed with them through my pregnancy. I'm now 12+6 with baby number two. Sorry for the long response, I just remember posting the exact same questions and not getting any answers. Feel free to ask more questions if you end up going down the same path I did!!
