birth story

So I finally have time to post my birth story last Monday I was going about my normal day walking the dog cleaning the house getting prepared for my induction date on the Thursday . I had been having stomach cramps on and off all day thought nothing of it later that night me and my so were carving pumpkins and cooking our tea when suddenly these pains were getting worse I decided to time them and after half hour they were five minutes apart omg it's baby time . We got to the hospital and the pain was unbearable and I was only 2cm dilated they gave me pethidine but it didn't work at all it was such a long night and the next afternoon I was finally 4cm and they gave me the choice of getting in the birthing pool for a while . I found the pool made my contractions even worse I was screaming gas and air did nothing for me I was so scared that I wouldn't be able to do it anymore so I finally got the epidural and it was amazing I was finally able to relax . Later that night it was time to push 30 hours of labour and 24 minutes of pushing and having to be cut  our beautiful son was born it was the hardest thing I've ever done but as soon as they put your baby on your chest you forget about the pain and I would do it all again tomorrow for him 💙
