ovulation cramps feel like period cramps?

im due to ovulate any day now but i do not use OPKs. my SO came in me every other day for the last week. i woke up this morning with lots of clear watery discharge in my undies and im now having period like cramps. could this be implantation pains? or just ovulation? something else?

Fertile discharge (cervical mucus) is either clear and watery or clear with an egg white consistency (this is the most fertile). Ovulation can cause period like cramps....it didn't always for me, but my last few months TTCing it sure did. Implantation occurs after the egg has been released and fertilized, usually 6-12 days past ovulation.
