Cervix Check

37w2d. Had my cervix checked at my appointment today and I'm dilated to 3 and 70% effaced. I can't remember if this happened with my last pregnancy but since I've left I've been having contractions that aren't steady, cramping & pressure. I also just lost a small part of my mucus plug. Does it sound like he just irritated me or could it be the start of labor? I've been relaxing & still all happening. I'm so uncomfortable right now.
